When did we start eating eggs?
The consumption of eggs goes back to 3200 BC, as indicated by East Indian history. These people started a domestic wild jungle fowl. However, it is essential to note that the fowls were consumed more than their actual eggs. Later on, the Chinese and Egyptians started to domestic fowls as well. It is believed that Christopher Columbus brought the first chickens to the Americas from Asia. Thus, started the egg production we know today.
Is eating eggs healthy?
There is much debate on whether consuming eggs is really healthy for you. Eggs are full of nutrients, protein, vitamins and cholesterol. The egg yolk contains cholesterol and this is why people tend to believe that eating eggs is unhealthy.
